It's common knowledge that the best potato chips are those which are folded over to make a potato chip taco of sorts, without the meat filling of the taco, which also is another work of culinary art. Cape Cod potato chips by far have the largest ratio of folded chips to the non-folded chip, which by the way have been scientifically proven to be less tasty than the aforementioned folded versions.
Cape Cod potato chips come in a many variety of concoctive flavors, which include sea salt & cracked pepper, as well as the best type of BBQ chip ever made; Beachside barbecue. What can be more American than sitting around eating some kettle cooked chips from a company that was started on the 4th of July in 1980? As I'm writing this I am enjoying their reduced fat line of potato chips, which surprisingly have no after taste like most reduced fat chips. Which just makes it even better. The "flavortologists" as I so lovingly call them, cooked up a reduced fat chip so amazing and rich in flavor that eating them by the handful leaves you without the guilt that comes with normal chips. Another great thing about this company is the fact that you can take a tour, for free, Monday thru Friday 9:00am - 5:00 pm. Any food factory that allows a tour is okay in my book. It shows that they are comfortable showing their factory floor, and are confidant that it is clean enough for public view.
